The HSM Securio P36i strip cut shredder is a great fit for offices with lower security requirements and higher volumes to shred. With a continuous duty motor for constant loads, the Securio P36i destroys between 47-49 sheets at once. Documents are broken down into 1/4" level 2/P-2 strips, for a total of 38 strips per page. Careful not to overload the machine or you will surely end up with a paper jam. If a jam inevitably occurs, JamStop technology switches the shredder into reverse mode until smooth operation is restored. The 100% solid steel cutting rollers tear through not only paper but also staples, paper clips, CDs, DVDs, and credit cards. This is perfect for those who may tend to forget to remove staples and paper clips from their documents before shredding. CDs/DVDs and credit cards can be fed through a media slot, independent of the paper opening. This keeps paper and plastic residue separated for easier disposal. Strips collect in the 38 gallon shred bag, which is reusable and easy to remove thanks to the convenient pull-out system.
